Is branding Eden child abuse?

Six year old American child beauty queen Eden Wood made a splash last week at the New York Fashion Week attracting controversy like her previous public displays.

Wearing provocative  hot pants, a crop top and swivelling her baby looking hips, her mother Mickie Wood said it was ok to do these sorts of displays as she hopes to build a business empire from her personal brand.

As image makers we regard the mother’s attitude as a form of child abuse and cannot believe she is getting away with “selling” her daughter in a manner that can only be described as soul destroying in the long-term.
