Mobsters image too upmarket for prison…

A ban on designer gear including Prada, Gucci, Valentino, Versace, Louis Vuitton and Armani has upset the exclusive “clients” of Palermo’s Ucciardone Prison a.k.a. “Grand Hotel”.

The story reported in “The Guardian” is designed to “stop a class system in the prison network” says new governor Rita Barbera – The new rules mean that from now on these polished gentlemen have to look like the rest of the mob? I don’t know about you, but maybe if they want an egalitarian class system, then they should  all dress in quality designer gear – why discriminate and make them all look “ugly”?
